Hey there! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a bit of a photography lifer—my Grandad, Dad, and Uncle all made a living capturing love and life through a lens in Wellington New Zealand. So, you could say that photography is in my blood. Growing up in photography studios surrounded by cameras darkrooms and old film negatives are some of my fondest memories, I still love visiting my grandmother who has generations of professional photos taken by so many photographers that share the Mackley name.

While photography was always in my heart, my first calling was working with children with disabilities—A rewarding journey that taught me more about strength, resilience, and the power of a smile than I could ever put into words. Just before my 18th birthday I rolled the dice and crossed the ditch looking for a new adventure, little did I know, the very day I arrived I would meet someone who would inspire me to follow my dreams and dream BIG! That dream has turned into a beautiful purpose built Studio specialising in Maternity and Newborn photography and oppertunity’s traveling to exotic locations to capture awesome wedding.

My days are now shared between documenting epic milestones and mum life!
I have two boys, polar opposite of course! One will change the world with his kindness and understanding of humanity and the other who will change the world with his determination and willingness to never give up…NEVER! Balancing the family is beautiful step daughter who has been a part of my life long before I had her crazy younger brothers! Oh and two adorable slobbering British bulldogs.
