Expecting mums are always excited to capture those first precious moments, so we often book out months in advance, especially during baby-booming times like September (hello, Christmas babies!). Don’t worry—you’re not locked into a specific date. We just make sure you’re on the schedule so we’re ready to go when your little one arrives!

Every mom and baby is different! Some mums are ready for photos as early as 5-7 days, while others need a bit more recovery time—and that’s totally fine! We can still capture those dreamy, sleepy newborn shots all the way up to 8 weeks old. If you’re aiming for the best time, the first two weeks are usually ideal. But don’t stress if things don’t go as planned—we can always adjust your session to make sure everything feels right for you and your little one!

Newborn sessions typically last about 2 hours, giving us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing those sweet moments without any rush. As for location, I’m based in my purpose-built studio at Highland Park, overlooking the city. Fun fact my husband actually built and did all the finishes himself.

Yes, I do offer payment plans! Newborn photography is one of the most challenging and specialized areas, requiring a lot of time and care both during the shoot and in post-production. That’s why it tends to be more expensive than a typical family session. But don’t worry—I want to make this milestone as accessible as possible! I offer Afterpay, credit card payments, and bank transfers, and we can even hold your images if you need more time to pay. If you start with a base package and want to upgrade later, that's totally doable. Just reach out, and we’ll find a plan that works for you!

No, you don’t need to come back to pick your images! Unlike many photographers who push in-person sales for pricey packages, I want you to feel comfortable spending exactly what you want. After your session, you'll receive an online gallery with base-edited images to choose from at your own pace. Once you make your selections, your final images are delivered via digital download in both color and black & white. You’re free to print them as you like, though I do recommend using a pro lab for the best quality. I also offer stunning albums and specialty prints that aren’t available at regular labs. Once my studio is fully prettied up and I get time to order the products, you’ll be able to see those on display too!
